  • Benefits Of Treatment at The Vein Center at The Vascular Care Group (TVCG) The Vein Center at TVCG is a facility designed for the purpose of diagnosing vascular conditions and providing effective treatment. If you are suffering from the symptoms of abnormal veins, such as varicose veins or spider veins, you can find the help and resources you need right here. Keep in mind that many “vein centers” are currently being run by non-vascular doctors, all of whom have not been specifically trained in vascular surgery. It is important to see a board-certified vascular surgeon to ensure the best treatment options and results. Some of the benefits of The Vein Center at TVCG treatment include: 1. Expert diagnosis of your condition. When you visit The Vein Center at TVCG and are under the care of a board-certified vascular surgeon, you will receive an expert diagnosis of your problem veins, thus allowing you to understand your condition and find the right treatment for you. This only applies if you get to see the specialist, and the specialist is a board-certified vascular surgeon. Don’t settle for an evaluation by a non-vascular surgeon who lacks formal training in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. 2. Medical attention from vein specialists. The vascular surgeons who perform your examinations and administer treatment at The Vein Center at TVCG have specialized training and many years of experience in diagnosing and treating abnormal veins. 3. Multiple treatment options. The Vein Center at TVCG offers several different treatment options. We are a world-leader in vascular clinical trials, so our patients have access to some of the most advanced treatment options available. With so many options available, you will be able to find the treatment option that is best for your condition. 4. Patient-directed treatment plans. When you visit The Vein Center at TVCG, your vascular surgeon will explain all your treatment options and make a recommendation; however, it will be up to you to decide which treatments you will pursue, based on the information your doctor has provided. Our board-certified vascular surgeons will have your legs looking healthy and feeling beautiful in no time! To learn more or to schedule a consultation, visit https://lnkd.in/eSdu9Mq6. The Vascular Care Group is a leading independent group of board-certified vascular surgeons with extensive experience treating vascular disease including arterial and venous disease, vascular malformations and anomalies, fibroids, and pelvic venous disease. • The carotid arteries are the two main arteries that carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the brain. These two blood vessels extend through each side of the neck. Carotid artery disease occurs when plaque (a build-up of fat, cholesterol, and other substances) collects and forms along the walls of the carotid arteries. This buildup of plaque and the injury it causes is called atherosclerosis. Over time, the walls of affected arteries thicken and become stiff, and the blood vessels may also become narrowed limiting blood flow. Left untreated, carotid artery disease increases the risk for stroke. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), stroke is the fourth leading cause of death in the United States and a leading cause of long-term severe disability.
